Now, I’ll begrudgingly admit that I listened to nu-metal. I’m not proud of it, but it did serve as the gateway genre that got me into “real metal” and the shit I listen to now. I cringe thinking about half of the bands from the late-90s and how popular nu-metal was as a whole. Although it was a parody of itself (and still, thanks to stations like The Blitz, continues to be), leave it to the internet to serve up the ULTIMATE nu-metal satire.
